Still doing this! In my spare time I’m actually working on a short, one-shot type, “manga-esque” comic based on our pals at the Daily Planet all because I can’t get this idea out of my head. I apologize in advance for the zany nonsense that shall occur…
Never apologize for a unique idea.

Grill manhole cover design by David Atkinson
With the exception of some mentions on photo and downtown-focused blogs, the Minneapolis manhole covers designed by artists between 1983 and 1990 seem to have largely fallen out of the public eye. At a certain point — maybe after 10 years, maybe after 20 — a piece of public art is absorbed completely into its surroundings.
This has to be the most beautiful celebration on the planet.
inspired by this post hehe

# no but what i love about scotty is that he’s not selfish at all # he isn’t driven by his ego or his pride # the reason he leaves the ship isn’t because he feels he deserves better (which he kind of does) # it’s because he genuinely cares for the ship # and he can’t bear to let anything to happen to her under his watch # and then when jim calls him asking for help # he barely hesitates #he makes like a pale imitation of resistance but everyone knows that he’s going to do it anyway # it’s this stupid unconditional loyalty and love that is my favorite thing about scotty # he’ll punch a klingon in the face if he so much as looks at his silver lady the wrong way (tags via warpfactors)
